Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year and Happy 2023!  

It’s been a bit but thank you to everyone that dressed up and celebrated the Holidays with us weeks ago with the Ugly Sweater Contest.  There was great competition;)

Congrats to Joan for taking the win; what a sweater and hairdo!

Also, big thank you to the Caliente Choir for entertaining us; they are so talented and we really appreciated the beautiful music.

Our speakers tomorrow are all about Getting To Know Our Members!!   Some of our members will share some aspects of their life stories.  Bernadette Knovacs with Beehive Homes, Dr. Ed Kompare, and Pat Manchester with the Manchester Insurance Agency have accepted our invitations.  This is a great opportunity to get to know each other better.

Tomorrow we will be inducting our newest member, Lisa Woodward!

We welcome her to our Kiwanis Family.

Bring your dollars to buy into the poker game and support our yearly social, too!

From Jill: I would really appreciate members sending me club pictures if I’m not there to take them. It’s good PR for Kiwanis to let our community know what we are doing. Plus, often we can use them to promote our projects. I keep pictures in our archives and have referred to them many times. Also, pictures of new members being inducted please. Many thanks, Jill

Please keep these upcoming dates in mind and consider signing up for these important events. 

May 13, 2023 is Thomas Jefferson and John Adams at the Farmington Civic Center.  Tickets will go on sale at the end of January. We would like to encourage members to dress in costumes from the 1776 era and let’s make this a really cool event for our community.
