The Farmington Rio Del Sol Kiwanis club is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. We are part of Kiwanis International, an organization serving children in local communities for over 100 years.
We’d love for you to come join us at one of our meetings or a service project.
We meet every Thursday at Noon at No Worries Bar and Grill located at the Farmington Airport, Farmington, NM 87401. Bring your appetite and your energy as we discuss upcoming projects and hear from people in our community.
Projects for Kids
Our club is actively involved in our community helping children in need. More can be found by clicking the Our Projects button below.
Kiwanis Clothes for Kids at Target provides $100/each for school clothes for approximately 300 children.

Coats for Kids program provides hundreds of warm winter coats to San Juan County boys and girls.
November 2022
Scholastic Books for Kids program provides books for every child in a title 1 school in our district.
Kiwanis Shoes for Kids program provides new athletic shoes and socks to children attending Boys and Girls Clubs.

San Juan County Historical Society-Laura Walters Harper and Mary Brooks will present a documentary on a once wild mustang, ‘Rambo, of the Carrasco Mesa: A History of the Jicarilla Mustangs and Mustangers.” Laura discovered that the horses used by the Conquistadors more than 500 years ago to traverse New Mexico had an ancient bloodline that is found here today.
