Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Ken McAdams-world traveler and photographer.  Don’t miss his spectacular pictures and narration of Vietnam.  Experience the culture 30 years after the Vietnam conflict.  This is the next best thing to actually traveling to Vietnam.

Changing of the Guard.  New officers take office for the 2023-2024 year.

Incoming officers please stay for a picture immediately following meeting, it would be appreciated.

Thank you to our speaker last week, Mike Stark, the County Manager.  We always enjoy his updates and important County issues.  We learned a lot about the railroad plans and goals the county has in place.

Congratulations to Devin Long and Paul Hayes for being inducted last week; we welcome you both into the Kiwanis family!

Thank you to our guest last week for joining us; Jill brought Danielle.  Thank you for coming!

Bring your dollars to buy into the poker game; the cards are down to 12 and it supports our yearly social, too!

We have many projects coming up and it would be nice to let our community know who we are and what we do.  We can purchase royal or navy blue t-shirts with Kiwanis on the front (probably left chest).  Chris, our treasurer, has agreed to bill you or you can pay when you order. Our club would need to order at least 30 for this price.

We have many opportunities to wear these to: Clothes for Kids, Coats for Kids, Scholastic Books for Kids, Riverfest Duck Race, Pancake Breakfast.  We aren’t sure if we can have them for Shoes for Kids.

There will be a form at Kiwanis Meeting or email Jill with your size

Dues for next year are now due by October 1st and Chris Troyer will have a square device at our meeting for those who would like to pay by credit card.

Perla Wahoske has been approved for membership and will be inducted at her earliest convenience.

Due to a conflict, Coats for Kids Date was changed to November 11th (Saturday).  We are looking for volunteers to help check donation bins that will be put out in October.  Requires a drive by once a week to see if we have donations.  Please let Brian Turner know if you can help.  Brian.Turner@morganstanley.com
