Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Alyssa Begay with Wesst. WESST’s mission is to be a home to New Mexicans starting or growing a small business.

They provide a support system of consulting, training, incubation and lending to help women and others to successfully grow their businesses.

Congratulations to Perla Wahoske and Lacey Yazzie for being voted as new members; they will be inducted at next week’s meeting.

Thank you to our speaker last week, Ken McAdams-world traveler and photographer.  We loved the narration of Vietnam and seeing all his great pictures.  It was so enlightening learning the culture 30 years after the Vietnam conflict.  Thank you for your time and information.

The 2023/24 Rio del Sol Kiwanis Club was inducted Thursday, Sept 28.

Dues for next year are now due and Chris Troyer will have a square device at our meeting for those who would like to pay by credit card.

Brian Turner- I am happy to report that we have received all 600 coats (almost 100 boxes) delivered to my office this week (see pictures attached) for our upcoming event on November 11th .  I also want to thank Fran & Steve for securing some additional coat racks for our upcoming event.

As in years past I am in need of some volunteers to “adopt” a donation box to check on once a week for the month of October and bringing the coats to one of our Dry Cleaning partners.  It is very easy and a low time commitment.  If you are able to ‘adopt’ a location, please send an email to brian.turner@morganstanley.com with the location you would like.
