Kiwanis Fun Bunco Fundraiser is next May 15 at The Elks Lodge. Some cool plans have been made for this fundraiser with a party theme. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Kiwanis Coats, Shoes, and Clothes for Kids. We plan to sell 40 sponsor tables and about 5+ tables for people wanting individulal tickets. Table sales are getting close to 1/2 sold! Our Humorous MC, Ron Price, will keep the evening going in full swing. If you want to help, there are areas where you can volunteer, let Lori M, Bernadette, Jareen, or Jill know if you’re interested. If you have something you’d like to donate, silent auction and raffle items are appreciated.

Victoria Dickson with All-Star T-Shirts & Trophies wanted us to know that she is having an ‘Inventory Reduction Sale’ event on Fri-November 23 and Sat Nov 24. They have Hats, T-Shirts-Hoodies, Medals, Plaques, Trophies, Trophy Toppers, etc on the sale. She said some items will be as low as $5. Happy Shopping!

Cody Cornoyer gave us a Heads Up about Scholastic Books. Arron at the Outback Steakhouse is keeping the price of tickets at $20. She gives $15 of every $20 spent back to Kiwanis for the purchase of Scholastic Books. You can purchase these items with tickets: chicken, steak, or hamburger. The Title One school receiving Scholastic Books next May is Animas Elementary. Your purchase of Outback Steakhouse tickets helps promote reading to students at an early age. It’s a proven fact, that children who are proficiente in reading are better students. make better grades and stay in school longer.
