Then those same kids went to the mall and selected a new coat for the upcoming cold winter months. All year Kiwanis has fundraisers to raise the money to help our children. Thank you to all those who volunteered your time.

Kiwanis Fun Bunco Fundraiser is next May 15 at The Elks Lodge. Some cool plans have been made for this fundraiser with a party theme. The purpose is to raise funds for Kiwanis Coats, Shoes, and Clothes for Kids. Would you like to be a table sponsor or donate something for silent auction and raffle?
It’s time for the annual Scholastic Books Outback Steakhouse dinner tickets. Cody Cornoyer will have tickets available tomorrow. When you purchase tickets, you are helping Kiwanis give Scholastic Books to students attending Animas Elementary, a Title One school. Each student selects 2 books to take home for their very own. It’s a fact that early literacy is fundamental for brain development and future academic success. Arron with the Outback Steakhouse gives Kiwanis $15 for every $20 spent! Select menu is on back of tickets and can be used Sunday thru Thursday.
Kiwanis is a member of the Chamber of Commerce so anyone interested in going to the Chamber Business After Hours at J A Jewelers is invited, this Friday from 5 to 7pm. J A Jewelers is a Table Sponsor at Kiwanis Fun Bunco Party.
