Hello Everyone,
Get informed and engaged! All four candidates for San Juan County Sheriff will be at our Kiwanis luncheon to discuss their platforms and answer questions—helping us make informed decisions at the ballot box. The Four candidates running for Sheriff are: Jon Nyce, Ken Christenen, and Kevin Burns. This will be a very interesting and engaging discussion with time for questions. Consider bringing a friend with you as the candidates are looking forward to sharing their platforms and ideas with as many people as possible. Kiwanis does not take a political stance, we try to help members stay informed and engaged in what’s happening in the community.
The Farming Chamber Business to Business is a very popular event and has already sold out of booths. Kiwanis has a booth and we’ll be answering questions about what Kiwanis does for the children in our community. If you have time, come by and support your club.
Last weekend an email was sent asking if anyone had something to donate for a door prize at the Chamber Business to Business Expo. Dan and Jessica from Dekon responded saying they would donate an Indoor Air Quality Assessment that includes IAQ sampling and analysis for your facility or home-including airborne particulates and mold spore counts. They included some swag as well. This is a $500 value.
THANK YOU DEKON!

Our 1st Year for the Kiwanis Bunco Party and we are proud to announce that it is sold out! Let Lori know if you are willing to be a sub in case of anyone not being able to come. Bunco is guaranteed to be a fun evening and a great much needed club fund raiser. With the current figures we have, it looks as though Coats and Shoes are funded with some Bunco proceeds going towards Clothes for Kids! Wahoo! Thanks everyone who helped and are helping with the Bunco Party.
We will be able to give a final tally of funds raised, hopefully by the meeting following Bunco—It’s lookin’ Good!!
