Hello Everyone,
Deborah Dapson-SW District Division 2 Lt Governor is Kiwanis speaker tomorrow. She’ll share information about what’s going on in the SW District. Deb plans to support making clubs in Division 2 stronger as well as membership. Bring any questions you may have about Kiwanis. Deb is the owner of Copper Moon Media, working in the marketing and communication arena for over 15 years.
Last week we had a great informative meeting with the four candidates running for Sheriff sharing their platforms and answering questions from the audience. Great turnout! Shown left to right: Jon Nyce, Daniel Webb, Kevin Burns, and Ken Christesen
The Chamber Business to Business Expo went great. Kiwanis volunteers: Cody Cornyer, Jill, Nikki, and Jareen came and shared Kiwanis with a number of business leaders in the community. It’s looks very promising that we may get a few new members from the Expo. It’s a fun time to see a lot of folks who we haven’t seen in a long time.
Many thanks to Jessica and Dan owners at Dekon Environmental for providing the Kiwanis Door Prize!

WHAT A GOOD OFFER FROM OUR WEBMASTER!
Ken Collins is reaching out to tell us about his new referral program. Most of his growth comes from referrals. Can you think of two or three business owners who might benefit from a new website design or marketing services?
For every client you introduce to Ken, to that signs a retainer (website or marketing) within 90 days of the introduction, he’ll give Kiwanis 1 year of free hosting/support. Send one, you get a year free. Send two, you get two years free. This applies to any Kiwanis member that refers a new client in exchange for Kiwanis’ next renewal fees. This would save Kiwanis about $750 if anyone is in need of Ken’s service.

Boys and Girls Clubs are a Kiwanis Corporate Member. Please support them if you love golf and are able to participate.
ANOTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! The ducks are all cleaned and say that they’re ready to race in the Riverfest Duck Race, but……now, they need numbers so we know who the winners are. We would appreciate volunteers for the next two Saturdays, April 18 and 25th from 9am to 12pm at Ethos Energy off Bloomfield Hwy, big blue building-14 Road 5860
This invitation has been left in as Kiwanis is a member of Visit Farmington. Send in your RSVP for the Visit Farmington Farmington Annual Meeting of Members and Partners, 7:30am to 9:30am, at Farmington Civic Center on April 29.

Our 1st Year for the Kiwanis Bunco Party and we are proud to annouce that it is sold out! Let Lori know if you are willing to be a sub in case of anyone not being able to come. Bunco is guaranteed to be a fun evening and a great much needed club fund raiser. With the current figures we have, it looks as tho Coats and Shoes are funded with some Bunco proceeds going towards Clothes for Kids! Wahoo! Thanks everyone who helped and are helping with the Bunco Party.
We will be able to give a final tally of funds raised, hopefully by the meeting following Bunco—It’s lookin’ Good!!
