We had a special guest at our 3/19 meeting. Shelly Diede of the Children’s Hope Foundation presented the wonderful work being done by her group. They thoughtfully help local families who have a child with a serious illness with their finances and living arrangements in cities with advanced care facilities. They also provide diapers — always needed — (ages 4 – 7). Contributions are welcome.
Additionally, they assist financially with funerals and incorporate the help of other benevolent foundations.
Children’s Hope Foundation was designated Non-Profit of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce.
