We had a most interesting guest at our 6/04 meeting, Wally Dorman. He is a former high school sports broadcaster and Founder of the Wally D. Sports Foundation.
 
The Foundation provides 150 scholarships to senior HS athletes for their upcoming college or trade school education. The scholarships are distributed to 9 area high schools based on the student’s athletic ability, their GPA and community involvement.
 
These scholarships will be presented at their upcoming banquet. Awards to the male and female athlete of the year will also be presented.
