Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Mike Lewis, Airport Manager of Four Corners Regional Airport. Mike will give a general update of the airport activities and discuss any major projects or issues. He’ll give an airport/airline service update along with some of the challenges they face.  Mike started his career in Farmington in 1987 working for Mesa Airlines. He’ll be happy to answer any questions about the airport, the airlines, or aviation in general.

Tracee Loughran, Business Consultant, with New Mexico Workforce Connection has been approved for membership, and will be inducted into Kiwanis at tomorrow’s meeting. 

Thank you to our speaker last week, Tim Gibbs, CEO for Four Corners Economic Development.  Tim is new to Farmington and we appreciate your time, meeting you, and updates on 4CED.  Thank you for the information regarding the New RICE Technology coming to Farmington, which aligns with the global trend towards cleaner, lower-carbon fuels. Wartsila Technology will provide a new power generation supply to Farmington’s Electric Utility System. 

Summer Jakino has posters and tickets ready for the Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 15 at the Outback Steakhouse. We would appreciate it if everyone would sell at least 1 book of tickets, $10 each-10 tickets to a book =$100. Take Dad and the Family out for a delicious pancake breakfast.

Thank you for helping sell duck tickets.  It is always a fun time to see who has the winning numbers.  1 ticket is $5 or a book that has 12 tickets is $50.  Please pickup your books and help Kiwanis raise money for all of our wonderful projects!;)
