Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Larry Palmer, CEO of Catholic Charities. Larry’s presentation is ‘911 National Day of Service.’ This Day of Service is the largest Day of Service in the Nation. He is looking for a Co-Chair for the event. They also support the Memorial Stair Climb by providing volunteers. He is also looking for a Kiwanis member who will serve on a committee to organize Key Club volunteers and Kiwanis members.

Thank you to our speakers last week, Andrea McNeely with No Minor Sale and Amileigh Longhorn. No Minor Sale is an educational and advocacy campaign, trying to protect youth from flavored nicotine products. Their main focus at the moment is advocating for a nicotine flavor restriction policy and tobacco preemption repeal.

March is National Women’s History Month: By Women for Women Holistic Fair will be at Connect Space on March 28 from 4pm to 7pm. Alyssa Begay, one of our members, is involved with this and said Kiwanis can have a booth at the Fair for No Charge. Would anyone be interested in manning a booth? If you are, give Alyssa a call at 505-536-0444

We received the art supplies from Santa Fe for Esperanza! That was so generous of them to donate;)

Club Elections are April 28. Currently, all positions have someone willing to serve in these capacities. If anyone wants to consider including their name, please talk to Bernadette. Those elected to these positions will take office Oct 1.
