Hello Everyone,
Shelly Diede with Children’s Hope Foundation is our speaker tomorrow. They were just named the Non-Profit of the Year at the annual Chamber banquet! Congratualtions to Shelly and their organization for all the wonderful work they do for children and families in San Juan County. We are proud that Shelly is a Kiwanis member. Hope Children’s Foundation helps children who must travel outside the Farmington area for medical assistance.
Speakers. If you know someone who would be a good speaker, ask them if they would like to make a presentation at Kiwanis. Check club calendar and confirm the date is still open, schedule your speaker and get a short paragraph of his/her presentation. The Farmington Chamber of Commerce Business to Business Expo is Friday, April 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Farmington Civic Center.
NEEDED- If you will volunteer for a few hours to represent Kiwanis and share our story it would be very appreciated.

CLUB ELECTIONS-If you want to serve your club, consider putting your name in for one of the following positions: Club elections for the following Board Positions are April 30, new officers take office at end of September.
Following Positions are available:
Secretary-2 year position (Currently held by Jill)
Directors-2 openings -2 year term (Jill running for 1 Director position)
Currently held by Gary Hansen and Bob Brooks
Community Director-1 year term and speaker photographer
Currrently held by Ed Kompare
Membership Director-2 year term
No One in the Position
Please let Kathy Hogan-President or Jill McQueary-Secretary know if you’re interested in running for any of these positions. The new Board takes office at end of September.
Jill will train whoever takes the Secretary postion to learn Mailchimp for the weekly newsletters.
