Hello Everyone,
Getting to Know You. Ron has an informal fun gathering ready for us. Come prepared to laugh and get to know your fellow club members just a bit better. Should be lots of fun! Bring a Friend and show them what Kiwanis does to have a good time.
Lyle Love, President of the Connie Mack World Series was our speaker last week. He and other Connie Mack volunteers shared the need for Foster Homes for the baseball players. They stressed how much fun it is to host players plus you get good seats to the games! Are you ready to hear who our team is??!??
NW 509 Spokane, WA
Sometime after the team arrives, our club will host a team dinner for players, coaches, host families, and Kiwanians. It will be a last minute get together as it is scheduled between games.
Dining with the Dead Actors and who they are portraying. Kiwanis members are the first to see this! Tickets on sale Monday.
Help Support Key Clubs by ordering at the Panda Express Thursday (tomorrow) Key Clubs get a percentage of each purchase. Be sure and use Code 9015979
ONLINE Club Leadership Education is available July 13 to 16. More information soon for anyone interested, club members are welcome to attend any classes.
It is that time of year again! Whether you’re a newly elected club officer, a seasoned leader, or simply interested in learning more about Kiwanis, Southwest District Leadership Training is for you!
This training is designed to help club presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and membership chairs develop the knowledge and skills needed to lead successful, thriving clubs. Participants will learn best practices, discover new ideas, connect with fellow Kiwanians from across the district, and gain valuable resources to support their club’s growth and service impact.
If you are serving in a leadership role, attending is one of the best investments you can make in your club’s success. And even if you’re not an officer, you’re welcome to join us! Any Kiwanian interested in learning more about leadership, club operations, or membership growth will benefit from the experience.
Come learn, connect, and be inspired as we work together to build stronger clubs and stronger communities.
Classes will run nightly the week of July 13th. Each evening will begin at 6pm Arizona/7pm New Mexico & El Paso and will last between 1-1.5 hours depending on the office. We will train on one office each night according to the following schedule:
-
Club Secretaries with Susan Hinchcliffe (Corrales) – Monday, July 13th
-
Club Treasurers with Karin Church (Los Alamos) – Tuesday, July 14th
-
