Hello Everyone,
Kathy Price Coordinator with 100% San Juan Initiative is tomorrow’s speaker. She is working to ensure that every child and family in our county can access ten vital services—from medical and behavioral. Kiwanis will hear an inside look at News & Chews, a new monthly “good news and good food” update.
MEMBERSHIP
The Kiwanis year runs from October 1 through September 30. By the end of last year, our club lost 12 members for various reasons. Since the end of October, we have welcomed just one new member.
If we want to see our club stay strong and continue to grow, membership is something we should all keep in mind. Inviting guests is one of the easiest and most effective ways to do that. Guest Forms are available in the name badge box—please ask your guest to fill one out.
If a guest would like to receive our newsletters, simply take a photo of the completed form and email it to me, and I’ll be sure they’re added. Many of our guests become members, so every invitation truly makes a difference.
Kiwanis Southwest District Convention will be held in Albuquerque on August 7-9. Save the date if you’ve always thought you’d like to attend a convention to learn more about Kiwanis but didn’t want to travel a long distance. This is your opportunity. More information soon.
