Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow is a special day! We have Club Elections and Committee Chairs reporting on their programs, what they do and information on the time of year when it is held. Some programs already have a date and some are approximate. Committee Chairs should bring a sign up sheet for members to volunteer for the different programs. See Below.
Chris Troyer will bring the square tomorrow so if want to purchase tickets to Kiwanis 2nd Annual Forks and Corks on May 1, he’ll make it easy for you. It’ll help Nikki know how much food to order. Be sure and go to Rio del Sol Kiwanis FB page and share Forks and Corks info with your friends. Proceeds from this event support Kiwanis Clothes for Kids this November. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.riodelsolkiwanis.com. Event is at Triple J Ranch ,May 1 from 5:30 to 9PM with a Derby Theme. Share information with your friends and let’s have a great turnout!
Please donate any gift cards (those you aren’t using) towards the Gift Card Pulls.
Our speaker last week was our own Joan Monninger, Executive Director of Aztec Museum. Joan shared many of the things the Aztec Museum has planned for the upcoming season. Consider supporting the Aztec Museum by becoming a member. The Aztec Pioneer Village is provided by the Museum.

Health Update on Susan Furry, owner of Triple J Ranch and Yes, Forks and Corks is still on. Susan broke her arm when a large piece of wood fell on her.
Laykenn with Faith Works has gotten approval for her company to donate 5 cases of water and 10 bags of candy for our team (we don’t have this info yet) in the Connie Mack Parade. When we have the team dinner, Faith Works will donate desserts for about 150. Wow! A huge Thank You to Faith Works.
Lt.Christopher Rockwell with the Salvation Army has been absent some since New Year’s. He has been taking leadership classes and will become Captain next year. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the Salvation Army will allow him to continue to serving in Farmington and not move him somewhere else.
