The trio, from left, are Tonya Stinson of Visit Farmington, Christa Chapman, Director of Cultural Affairs for the City of Farmington, and Nate Augustine, Museum Director, who spoke at our 11/06 meeting.
They presented their plans for making the Bisti Wilderness a destination for visitors to visit and hike our Jurassic/Cretaceous past. Also noted is the Farmington Museum’s upcoming permanent exhibit of Farmington’s epochal evolution from dinosaurs to energy production as well as cultural heritage. This exhibit and upcoming changing exhibits will be developed with the assistance of the Smithsonian’s Museum Exhibit Productions.
