Our guest at the 10/01 meeting was Jamie Voita.
She gave a tearful review of the terrible shooting of her mother locally 2 years ago by a severely depressed 18 year old using an assault rifle. She and her family and the other victims’ family are still dealing with this tragic event.
 
Jamie has devoted her life to promoting gun safety for homes that have children and guns. Gun safes are recommended.
 
She also is a member of national groups promoting gun safety. See below.
 
She has spoken to various groups like Kiwanis, and also the legislature, about this important issue.
