At the 6/26 meeting the speaker was Johnny Curry, Chairman of the Connie Mack World Series, who reviewed the 60 year history of the CM Series and is anticipating the same wonderful experience at the upcoming event. Along with him was Lindsey Valdez who is with the Connie Mack Foster Families. Her group facilitates placing the players with welcoming host families. This experience has often resulted in lasting friendships.
