Our invited speaker at the 10/29 meeting was Jamie Church, President and CEO of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce, pictured here with her book, “Over A Cup of Coffee”. The book discusses how groups of people meeting over coffee can organize and plan how to help people in need. She relayed her grandma’s mantra: Don’t agonize, organize!
In her talk she discussed the effects of the current flood emergency on county residents. Many essential food items and supplies are being distributed by local organizations. These efforts are being assisted by Ms Church and the Chamber of Commerce.
