Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Tim Gibbs, CEO Four Corners Economic Development.  Tim is new to Farmington and we are excited to hear what he has to say about 4CED. You will hear about the New RICE Technology coming to Farmington, which aligns with the global trend towards cleaner, lower-carbon fuels. Wartsila Technology will provide a new power generation supply to Farmington’s Electric Utility System. 

Board Members, please stay for our May Board Meeting, immediately following the 12pm lunch meeting.

Thank you to our speaker last week, Warren Unsicker.  He is the Director of Economic Development for the City of Farmington.  It was great to hear about some of the latest major projects happening in the City of Farmington. Many new and exciting things are underway and soon to be constructed in the City. They include major parks, roadway extensions, river features, and more growth in the Downtown core. There are also exciting plans being created to help craft the future of the community.

Also, thank you to Zurisadai (Sudi) and George with Whataburger for joining us and sharing the update regarding the new Whataburger restaurant on East Main!

Our own Arron Hinshaw, proprietor of the Outback Steakhouse, is getting married on June 22.  Congratulations!!  We all wish her the very Best.

Thank you for helping sell duck tickets.  It is always a fun time to see who has the winning numbers.  1 ticket is $5 or a book that has 12 tickets is $50.  Please pickup your books and help Kiwanis raise money for all of our wonderful projects!;)
