#KidsNeedKiwanis
The Farmington Rio Del Sol Kiwanis club is dedicated to serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects. We are part of Kiwanis International, an organization serving children in local communities for over 100 years.
We’d love for you to come join us at one of our meetings or a service project.
We meet every Thursday at Noon at No Worries Bar and Grill located at the Farmington Airport, Farmington, NM 87401. Bring your appetite and your energy as we discuss upcoming projects and hear from people in our community.
Help the Rio del Sol Kiwanis Foundation in Farmington support the children in need.
The Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
All donations are tax deductible.

Projects for Kids
Our club is actively involved in our community helping children in need. More can be found by clicking the Our Projects button below.
Kiwanis Clothes for Kids at Target provides $100/each for school clothes for approximately 300 children.
November each Year
Coats for Kids program provides hundreds of warm winter coats to San Juan County boys and girls.
November each Year
Scholastic Books for Kids program provides books for every child in a title 1 school in our district.
Kiwanis Shoes for Kids program provides new athletic shoes and socks to children attending Boys and Girls Clubs.
Farmington Rio del Sol Kiwanis Meetings

Description
Nate Augustine is the new Director of the Farmington Museum. He has a lot of news to share. His initial focus is on the Riverside Nature Center & Museum of Navajo Art and Culture as he feels both are underused so he will be increasing programming and events at their facilities. The Museum is working on a new major permanent exhibit that present the history of the 4 Corner Region from Dinosaurs to the present. Nate sent over so much information that you’ll have to come and hear him share every thing!

Annette Reich, President of Four Corners Home for Children, will talk about the ministry’s 16-acre campus and the various programs they have for children as well as their Navajo Nation Outreach program. She will focus on their newest program, Four Corners Families, and how this program is meeting an urgent need for mothers and children in San Juan County.

They are the largest privately held manufacturing firms in San Juan County, and one of the largest in New Mexico. PESCO designs, manufactures, and services production equipment for use throughout the United States, primarily in the Rocky Mountain region and Texas. They currently have over 420 employees operating in over 115,00 Sq. Ft. of manufacturing space operating on over 60 acres of land.
