Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Jason Rounds.  He is the President and CEO of San Juan Regional Hospital and his presentation will be on a Hospital Update.  Mr. Rounds took over as the hospital’s CEO in early May 2023.

Tomorrow we are inducting the new Board .  Also, will the Board please stay afterwards for a picture.

Bernadette will need to take a vote on the following and it will be by acclamation on the following and then inducting the full board.  Kathy Hogan, Di Searle, Summer Jakino, and Jill McQueary

Thank you to our speakers last week, Lynne Harris, owner of Zia Tech, and Justin Tornatore, who does cybersecurity for Zia Tech.  Justin gave us a lot of great information and tips regarding security in the digital world and we all learned a lot!

Nikki Taylor also gave an update regarding the Kathy Lincoln Cancer Luncheon that is on October 15th; sponsorships open now and individual tickets go on sale October 1st.  Also, the Walk-a-Thon that took place over the past weekend.

Please keep these upcoming dates in mind. 

Today is Kiwanis Shoes for Kids-sorting and inserting socks into 300 pair of athletic

shoes for students attending Boys & Girls Clubs. This is Kiwanis 8th year.

Volunteers meet at Lori Kruger’s Carpet One at 4pm. Won’t take more than 1 ½ hours.
