Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Anne Hillerman, a best-selling author. She is the daughter of novelist Tony Hillerman, and has continued her father’ series of Joe Leaphorn-Jim Chee novels following his death. Her 9th book in this series is Lost Birds. Amy’s Book Case will be here and will have Ms Hillerman’s books available for sale! We are so excited to have her visit our club! This will be a very special meeting and likely to run out of seating.

Please arrive early; we will start on time, at noon.

Thank you to our speaker last week, Debbie Braff.  What an interesting presentation on the B52 Bomber crash in Kayenta, Az on Oct 16, 1984. The crash had ties to Farmington!  Thank you for such a great presentation.

Important Member Information:
Roy, D’Ann’s husband of over 50 years, is in ICU at San Juan Regional and she is asking for prayers for him. He had a heart attack Sunday and quit breathing. Please keep both of them in your prayers that Roy will recover and for strength for D’Ann.

Social Chairman-Fran Ellison-will have Kiwanis Annual Social sign up sheet at the meeting.  Be sure and say you’re coming if you haven’t already so we know how much food to order!

Shoes for Kids–Volunteers needed. We will be sorting shoes and socks at Lori Kruger’s Carpet One on Wednesday, Sept 25 at 4pm.  The more help, the less time it will take us. Come on out and join us!
