Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is Noelle Phillips, First Responder Resilience.  This is a new service unique to the area. Many businesses such as schools, counselors, social workers, and others can benefit from this service. Noelle states that she hopes to be able to provide more availability of the program to those serving our community.

Business After Hours is tomorrow at Zia Media from 5pm to 7pm.

110 W. Main

Free Appetizers, cash bar. Kiwanis is a member so come and make new friends.

Thank you to our speaker last week, Laura Harper, President of San Juan County Historical Society.  Her presentation was on mustangs; Wild Horses Are Coming! Thank you for all the information on Wild Horses and we are excited for the Film and Arts Fest coming to Aztec on the weekend of July 26th-28th.

Bernadette Kovacs with Beehive Homes attended last week and brought Tamara Howell with her.  Thank you for joining us!

Don’t forget the Connie Mack Parade is this Friday at 10am.  We are excited to be hosting the Mississauga Tigers and walking with them.  If you have additional candy, please bring it to Nikki tomorrow.

Also, we could still use a couple of more walkers for the parade, to help hold the ends of the banners.  If you can help, let Nikki know.

Don’t forget, the team/family meal hosted by Kiwanis at Summer’s house date will be picked as soon as the team gets their schedule. Plan on a quick update on that in the next few days, if you want to help and/or attend.

If you have a speaker you’d like to schedule for Kiwanis, look at the Calendar of Events to see what dates are open. Confirm with Jill that date is available and book them. Your interest is appreciated.

Please keep these upcoming dates in mind.

July 26th-Connie Mack Parade

Nikki and Nicole will carry the banner and walk in the parade.  It starts at 10am

We would like to thank and recognize Laykenn Kennedy with Faith Works Counseling for sponsoring the water for the boys and candy for the parade.  If you would like to donate additional candy, please contact Nikki Taylor and bring to the meeting.
