Hello Everyone,
Our speaker tomorrow is Daniel Webb, Deputy Administrator at San Juan County Adult Detention Center. Plans to give an insightful presentation highlighting the importance of collaboration among first responders. He’ll emphasize the critical role the Detention Center plays in supporting law enforcement and the courts, and the essential services it provides to the community. If you’re interested in touring the Detention Center, let Daniel know and he can make it happen.
Last week’s speaker was Gina Intoppa-City of Farmington Marketing & Communications Manager. She spoke about exciting events happening at city facilities: Boys & Girls Club BBQ tickets now on sale, Four Corners Balloon Rally Sept 26-28. Totah Labor Day rug auction, and Kiwanis members can purchase amphitheater tickets at farmingtonshows.com and use the password “Kiwanis” for 20% Discount off ticket price. Gina passed out goodie bags and Kiwanian Rae DeGroat designed the logos!
Club Treasurer Needed! Chris Troyer has served as our Treasurer for the past several years and will serve as Director starting on Oct 1. If you are willing to serve in the Board Position, please let Chris or Nikki know.
Future Plans – We’re planning a club social at Summer’s home on August 16th so mark your calendars! By then, we should have a healthy fund—especially if someone finally draws the Ace of Spades in our weekly card game.

Farmington High School Key Club and Aztec Key Club recently returned from the International Key Club Convention in Orlando, Florida. We’re excited to share that they brought home two impressive honors: the Outstanding Lieutenant Governor Award and the Spirit Award! We’re incredibly proud of these dedicated and spirited students for representing our community so well at the International Convention.
