Hello Everyone,

Tomorrow we have a special treat!  Members of the 4 Key Clubs that Kiwanis sponsors will be attending the luncheon meeting and giving us an update of what they have been doing and what they have planned.  These Key Club students are amazing because of everything they do in the community. Please come and meet these young high school students, you’ll be glad you did and learn about everything they are involved in.

Last week’s  speakers were Jeanette Jacquez and Connie Maestas with Desert Sun; they told us about Red Light Therapy and what it can do for you. It is also known as LED light therapy and it is rapidly rising in popularity around the world!

Carol Taulbee and Bryan Myers took a few minutes and shared information on the interesting upcoming Four Corners Conference for Professional Development AI Conference.

At the December Board meeting it was decided that, Chris Troyer, our treasurer would benefit from having an assistant to train for this position. Perla Wahoske with Washington Federal has expressed a desire to begin learning about the duties of the treasurer.  Chris was thrilled with this news!

Lori Monteverdi and Beki Cassles were both inducted last Thursday. We welcome them into Kiwanis

Check out the Calendar of Speakers. Many of you are asking about volunteer opportunities: take a peek at Jan 23 when Candace Krestle will tell us about Night to Shine, a prom for the Special Needs community. They need a lot of volunteers and this sounds perfect for many Kiwanis members. There is a website shown where you can sign up.
