Hello Everyone,

Our speaker tomorrow is about Japan. Some of our members took a trip to Japan last fall and we get to experience several locations in Japan. Fran and Steve Ellison and Jim and Barb Luther will show pictures and tell about their adventures including a 3 day hike. Fran had the opportunity to dress like a Geisha Girl! This will be the next best thing to being there.

Board Members, please stay after the regular meeting for our April Board Meeting.

Thank you to our speakers last week, Tina Pacheco with First Tee, Nicole Clark, who works for Basin Health Companies as The Executive Assistant & Outreach, and Shelly Corwin, who works for the TriCity Record/Ballantine Communications as the Circulation and Operations Director. Thank you Tina for information about the Volunteer Incentive Program. They encourage youth to serve in the community and VIP partners with local youth organizations, including athletic, academic, religious, and social groups, by donating $ per student per hour spent volunteering. Thank you Nicole and Shelly for information regarding Masada House and the upcoming fundraiser. Masada House is a transitional home for women coming out of prison, recovering from substance abuse.

It is DUCK numbering time again! On Saturday, April 20^th at 1PM, we need your help numbering the ducks for the Riverfest Duck Race. Please grab a friend or family member and come on down to 14 Road 5860 in Farmington and lend a hand. Every little bit helps. See y’all there!

We also need some help selling duck tickets. It is always a fun time to see who has the winning numbers. 1 ticket is $5 or a book that has 12 tickets is $50. Please pickup your books and help Kiwanis raise money for all of our wonderful projects!;)

Club Elections are April 28. Currently, all positions have someone willing to serve in these capacities. If anyone wants to consider including their name, please talk to Bernadette. Those elected to these positions will take office Oct 1.
