San Juan County Sheriff Candidates

At the 4/9 meeting we were privileged to hear the Republican candidates for San Juan County sheriff. Pictured L – R are Jon Nyce, Daniel Webb, Kevin Burns and Ken Christensen. They were given a time allotment to present their views and proposals on improving the SJC Sheriff Department.
 
These include better recruitment and retention of officers, the importance of a reliable, experienced under-sheriff, their opposition to catch-and-release, and the importance of accurate reports by officers to insure prosecution of criminals.
