Lisa Monee Korbas, Title One Coach, and principal Tatia Lang of McCormick Elementary School, presented their innovative and popular program at the 8/21 meeting. The program consists of teachers passing out “gold” coins to students having positive learning experiences in the classroom. The coins are used to purchase books from a special vending machine at the school. Many of the books are provided by the Kiwanis Scholastic Books program.
