At the 7/23 meeting we were honored to have special guest Kristi Jacquez (pictured) who is recruitment specialist for foster families for the local branch of Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD). Also with her, but not pictured, was Toni Langlitz, a well experienced foster parent who addressed the need for foster parents here locally in order to have the affected children remain in familiar environs. These children have experienced dysfunctional family situations and are in need of a loving, caring foster home. If interested in becoming a foster parent, please contact Ms Jacquez at CYFD.
