Bev Taylor – Apr 2, 2026

Bev Taylor
Guest Speaker
We were pleased to have as our guest speaker at the 04/02/2026 meeting Bev Taylor of Artifacts 302, currently in business for 26 years in the former Taylor family lumber establishment. She and her husband, Tom, developed the idea for utilizing the historical building for promoting art in Farmington after visiting The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, where a munitions factory was re-invented as an art destination.
Artifact has studio spaces for 14 artists to make and sell their creations as well as gallery space for exhibits featuring local artists. The adjacent space is a coffee house also selling freshly made pastries. It’s a popular meeting place for the community and a frequently utilized event center.
In 2022 Bev and Tom received the Governor’s Award For Excellence In The Arts in appreciation of their work as supports of and contributors to the arts in San Juan County. Their daughter Tara is currently the proprietor of the business.
