At the 6/11 meeting our special guest was Gina Intoppa, Integration Marketing and Communications Manager for the City of Farmington. She emphasized the upcoming celebration of the foundation of the city 125 years ago.
 
There will be an electric light parade on July 4th. In addition, time capsule articles will be selected at the Museum in advance of the capsule sealing in November.
 
Also she noted programs at the Sandstone Theater, lake safety day, the new sculptures Downtown on Main Street, the weekly concerts on the Museum patio, Reading programs at the Library and the anti-speeding effort being formulated: “Not So Fast, Farmington”.
