Steve Hebbe – Jan 29, 2026

At our 1/29 meeting we were privileged to have as speaker Farmington Police Department Chief Steve Hebbe. Chief Hebbe is also President of the New Mexico Association of Chiefs of Police. This position requires that he frequently presents testimony before New Mexico legislative committees. Recently he has presented concerning compensation for injured police officers and on the topic of juvenile crime.

In Farmington, his greatest need is for more officers, along with a need for advanced technology to assist officers in their multiple responsibilities.

He was pleased to mention that the FPD will soon be opening their new headquarters, located on the Bloomfield Highway.
