Hello Everyone,
Becca Griffith-Apache Elementary School Community Partnership Liaison. Her presentation is an introduction to building a stronger school and community for our children and families. Some of the things they are doing is a clothes closet and community garden.
Leadership San Juan’s Multicurtural Day was held last Friday (after a weeks delay). A couple of actors couldn’t make it but we sure appreciate those who were able to go and entertain. Wow! Kiwanis Fun Bunco Party Table Sponsors are getting close to being sold out. Gazing into the crystal ball, we will likely sell out by the end of the month or shortly afterwards.
Individual Bunco tickets are on sale on club website: www.riodelsolkiwanis.com. There are a limited number of tickets available. Cost is $40 plus a small service fee.
The Chamber Business After Hours is Thursday, Feb 5 at Garcia & Co Jewelers. Kiwanis is a Chamber member so come and socialize and make new friends. Event starts at 5PM-cost is $10.00
